Montecatini Alto

We left the Aosta Valley in sunshine this morning and after a long drive have arrived in Tuscany.

We picked our campsite with a pin and what a find!  It's in an amazing elevated location near the hilltop town of Montecatini Alto.

We wandered up to the town for a pizza and were passed by Mark Cavendish (the cyclist) who we have since found has a house near here.

Unfortunately,  the iffy weather that we have experienced so far has followed us here and it's dull and slightly drizzly.  Tomorrow is forecast to be worse.  We had intended to spend 2 nights here but we'll see how the weather pans out.
