Due South

Just one of the many fishing boats moored off the beach of Southend-on-Sea. Everything from row-boats to huge container transporters were viewable here. In the morning, I pounded the coast road from east to west via the famous pier, and amusements. It was a lovely sunny morning and the moderate chilly wind really did not detract from experience. The weather was also creating various types of cloud formations, and projecting light shows onto the sea surface. It was good to come back here (I visited briefly earlier in the year) and take it all in with a closer encounter of the seaside kind.
