The Light Room

Berry bounty

Right now, there's an abundance of these, Pyracantha berries. As last year, they are noticeable upon this shrub that is present in many locations for example gardens, driveways and supermarket car parks, and the berries are on average six to seven millimetres across, though can be smaller. I had made a mental note of the fact that last year the birds didn't actually eat the berries in my garden until January, although I have already witnessed one blackbird eating some at another location.
