Bubble fun

Woke up this morning with Archie draped round my head. Nice. He was a bit unsettled last night, so he was allowed on the bed.

Becky took Archie out for frisbee fun - she's very good to keep trying to improve his 'fetching' skills. We both popped to the gym. Well, my visit is definitely a 'pop' but JR does a prolonged workout.

After the gym, JR went to do her executive housekeeping, and Archie and I decided to go down to see the newly restored Ross Fountain, but we were disappointed, as it's not quite ready yet, though the fountain is all in place, the surroundings aren’t completed yet.

Undaunted, we continued on through the park and up the side of the castle, where Archie could be off the lead and run around (though he always waits for me to come up steps). We came back to the Mound, where I could get a bus home.

I knew I had a bit of spare time before my bus, so we went round to the see the Bubble Man. He made masses of bubbles! The kids loved it. Archie did not, particularly. But the little soldier that he is, he sat there and posed. Good boy, Arch! (Check out the Extra too).

JR's iPad has died, which means that she a) needs a new one and b) but meanwhile, needs my one. She's researching bathrooms... we have a plan...
