What is that?

Saw this on the hillside as I enjoyed a lovely walk and then, when it got up and moved away I realised it was what I had thought at first! Answer in the extra, a Red Stag. Later, found a whole herd of hinds too.
There were lots of Orchids and other butterfly attracting flowers and so many Common Blue butterflies taking advantage.
