The Netty

We were busy getting things sorted for our 3 days away. Ros had asked me over for tea and scones so we enjoyed a good natter in her lovely garden. It seemed unbelievably English to be having tea and scones in a garden - we don’t often get it warm enough for that, but in fact we were glad of the shade of the apple tree.

Her Netty in the garden is actually a listed building. How our ancestors would have laughed. It can’t have been much fun scooting out there in the depths of winter to take a comfort break.
