Snow streak....

still visible on the Cairngorms, despite temperature being in the 30s down here. Not a comfortable walk as not only was it very hot, even first thing, but the flies seemed to be waiting for me! Ended up waving my shirt above my head to deter them. Also, got two cleg bites when not moving and trying to see what was on the lochan.

At the croft, the steel food hopper was so hot , the chickens couldn’t stand on the delivery plate. Could barely lift the lid off without burning my hands, but scattered lots for them to eat!
Got four eggs too!
