Art Deco quilt day

A peaceful day of sewing in a hall that was a perfect temperature on this scorching day, normally it is freezing cold.

The block is called tulips and I wasn’t that enthusiastic about doing it ( pictures on instructions in extras), but willing to give it a go. I actually managed to get this far, only have to join the 4 small blocks together and it is finished.

The window fitter has finished and our house is back to normal.

A trip to the new house to hang the new curtains.....they look good.

There has been no mention in my journal of Amber recently. She is at doggy boot camp learning all about obedience!! We received a video this evening of one of her training sessions today. She is doing so well and looking good. We are missing her and look forward to having her home. The challenge will be to replicate that behaviour at home :0)
