Guess I'm just going to have to call June a wash! 

This is the first bloom on our hydrangea - it's amazing to think it will bloom for 4-5 months and definitely something to enjoy.

My neighbor had a trunk show for Joby Shimomura today. She makes lovely fused glass objects like bowls, trays, jewelry and the like. Her dad Roger happened to be there too. Unfortunately I am not very well educated about contemporary art so I didn't know his work for which he is apparently pretty famous (you can see it at the Met and Whitney in NY for example).
