A Twofer
I promised Debbie that I would try to get her a roseate spoonbill. I told her they were hard to get because they're shifty and skittish.
I didn't think this would be the day because I decided to make it a garden day instead of a seashore day. Plants...and bugs who visit those plants.
I put many plants on my Flickr page. So many pretty colors. Plus...(BONUS!!) I got my own personal tour from a guy named Mike. That is his hand in front of a huge piece of fruit called Jackfruit. Mammoth. He was one of the volunteer gardeners.
After the garden tour...I found these two just hanging out together. Sad to say that I had to crop out some trash that some thoughtless lazy people threw in the drink.
I went back to the condo, and took Lisa out for some popcorn shrimp. A scrumptious lunch. We then went to a local nautical shop called the Sea Hagg. I've never seen so much sea crap stuff in one place. And...it's not cheap.
Also on the Flickr page is a self-portrait. Sort of. I stuck my head into a pirate cutout...giving my best mean mug. Pirates don't smile. Funny how that scowl just comes naturally to me.
Lisa's head shot was another matter. She is a smiling mermaid. Why is she smiling? Check out her right hand. She is reaching around to grab her ample mermaid breast.
Choose the ending line...
1. I can't take her anywhere.
2. She sometimes does what I ask her to do.
I guess you'll never know.
