The day's eyes

I've spent most of today tidying up and potting my rather large collection of ferns, all still in pots, and moving them into a shadier place. In spite of watering them thoroughly every evening several are shrivelling by the next afternoon. 

Almost as soon as I'd finished, the sky filled with patchy clouds - the first for a long time - so I quickly snapped some of the daisies in pots by the front door and came in to refresh myself with the G&T which Mrs M had produced just at the right time!
