Erskine Bridge opened 2 July 1971.

A much loved bridge crossing the Clyde and more. We were in the area doing a bit of business. And where else to stop for a very quick picnic lunch but the parkland below the bridge at Old Ferry Road, Erskine harbour. Photo taken from the wee beach beside Ferry Cottage - folks enjoying the summers day. Much more could be made of this area, it’s a great location.
No tolls for over 10 years. Road Bridges long since part of the Scottish trunk road network.
