Outrageous blue

Although our hydrangea is just starting to bloom, this one is going all out, just up the street from our house. This color is almost unreal, like the flowers were dyed blue. I love it!

Finally, about 7pm the clouds all cleared away and there was a clear blue sky. It was cool and overcast most of the day. I even took a nap with long pants and two t-shirts on, under the covers. That is truly pathetic for July. But typical for Seattle... I even worked on a puzzle later in the afternoon - usually only something we do in the winter. 

I know there are many of you in very hot conditions and I should be grateful, and maybe I will try harder!
