At Last!

It rained all morning! Proper, heavy, big fat raindrops pouring from the sky and soaking into the ground! I've never been so happy to see rain! Come the afternoon and the rain stopped and the sun beat down with the same formidable force and it was once more sweltering! But how lovely it was to go up to the allotment and see the ground thoroughly dark with the soaking it got! No watering needed from me tonight!
