Gratin
Is this a food blog? It's fast becoming one. Either that or my life is much too based on eating.
Today, as a Sunday, is naturally a do nothing day. Lots of crosswords and sporcle were involved. I read my Kindle in the bath for a while. I read the whole of The Importance of Being Ernest without being able to put it down, it really is an amazing play. Definitely understand why people rave about Oscar Wilde. I also Skyped Clare, it was great to catch up with all her news and the general hilarity that ensues when we get to talk to each other.
In the evening, we made Gratin - potato, courgette and aubergine gratin to be precise. This is possibly my favourite French food and I'm pretty sure we did it justice. It took so long to cook that we ended up eating around 10pm, another very European thing to do!
