Exploring

We actually managed to get up at a normal time today and went to be tourists. We climbed the Rocher St. Michel d'Aiguilhe and it's nice to be able to post a picture from the top, as I am forever taking pictures looking up at it. We also visited the cathedral and climbed a little way up to the Virgin Mary statue, but as she's currently covered in scaffolding, it didn't seem worth going to the top.

We had intended to go out for lunch, but France being France, I had forgot that Monday provides the perfect excuse for everything to close so that plan was out of the window. We were, therefore, forced into another trip to the patisserie and decided to make another cake in afternoon. This time we went for courgette, carrot and chocolate. Despite it sounding rather vegetably, it was actually very good. Retired to bed to watch The Watch, which I found much funnier than I should have done!
