First Pink Waterlily

This is the first pink waterlily in my pond. I used a narrow aperture so maybe it looks a bit too clearly defined.

A wonderful colour. 

As I write, Len has gone to fetch Basil from Stacey, his groomer, and Basil and I are to travel to Nottingham tonight for a photographic workshop featuring contemporary dance.

I'd ordered some net curtains as a backdrop but there was a mixup over delivery, so they haven't arrived.
