Building Walls
Well last night ended up being a repeat of last night, with Ethan being up virtually every hour. The poor wee thing really isn't well.
I was so tired, and struggling, so Foreveryoung came over round about lunchtime to take Ethan over to her house, so I could try to get some sleep. Unfortunately I only managed about 1/2 hour because of the noise from the builders who are rebuilding our garden wall. Not that I'm complaining about that because my wonderful next door neighbour, after years of her complaining to the builders about the poor quality of the bricks in the wall, has finally worn them down and got them to send someone out to fix it. She's such a star!
Granny & Grandpa went over to the Foreveryoung household in the afternoon too and brought Ethan back to ours after dinner. He looked worse than when I saw him earlier in the day as in addition to being red hot and miserable, he could also hardly move his neck. A phone call to NHS24 and a trip to the out of hours doctors at St Johns followed. The doctor diagnosed him with a chest infection but was unclear as to what was causing his neck pains and took advice from the duty paediatrician as to whether or not to admit Ethan for observation. Fortunately they decided we could take him home
