Marjoram and the bee

Today's the day ……………………….. for another bee

Following on from yesterday's bee on the sea holly, here's a very regal-looking one on the flowers of the herb marjoram.  It looks as if it's wearing a cloak with a fur collar.

To be honest, I've been otherwise occupied today - watching the absolutely thrilling Alpe d'Huez  Stage of the Tour de France.  It was made all the more exciting because it was won by our man from Wales, Geraint Thomas, who also won yesterday's stage.

Our joy knows no bounds ……………………..!
