Cocktail Hour

I had to go and sit at Bags' house first thing for a service engineer to see about her boiler.
He was due "between 8am and 1pm" ………. very helpful.
SWMBO came over about 9am, we had breakfast and I went to let the chickens out.
Off course, the engineer drove into the street as I drove out.
Only 1 egg again.

I finished a small vase and 3 boxes (I do like Laburnum  - not so much my pictures of it) and made a handful of spinning tops. The lid of this box doubles up as a spinning top - one that spins rather well and for a decent length of time.
The jar is filling nicely and this is it seen from all sides.

This evening it is a roast diner, a cocktail and a film ……. Darkest Hour.
