The leader of Chicken Lady's coven.
I was up letting them out by 08.30 this morning ….. after the plumber had bee round to Bags' to fix the leaking radiators. It turns out all I needed was a much bigger hammer  wrench and a bit more courage (which would also require a lot more (good) luck.

SWMBO and I went into town (well, the outskirts of town) to get fuel (premium diesel is cheaper where we went than standard stuff elsewhere and gives between 15 & 20 mpg)  and to see what Markies 'Meal for 2 for £10) offer was. Turns out SWMBO wasn't in the mood for an Indian ….. so we headed home again.
It actually turned out SWMBO wasn't in the mood for anything -- the weather changes had brought on a migraine so she headed to bed and has been there ever since. She did however manage a chicken omelette (made from The Coven's eggs - but not the Coven itself ….. Chicken Lady has barred me from inviting them to diner).

So all I have done is spent some time in the garage, at the lathe.
