Lots of movement in the Gemma department today: personal statement for universities done and applications to 5 unis done. She's imagining herself in the future in university. It's changed the way she approaches life and she seems so much more positive about and interested in life.
Being in your late teens and wondering where life is going can be terrifying and worrying. I remember it well. We're desperate for her to feel she is doing the right thing.

Otherwise today was about washing and parting with money. Which reminds me - the tooth fairy needs to visit Tess tonight. I hope she doesn't forget AGAIN!
