Birthday Planning

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

We went to meet Mary Doll and Victor for lunch today. They chose the venue. A garden centre. Obviously! They really do love a garden centre. I can understand this if you like gardening but on the way out, Mary Doll was distracted by the clothing section. Why does a garden centre have a section with regular clothing? I’m not going to buy a dress to do the weeding. Even if a matching scarf is available!

After lunch we went to buy Murphy some new toys for his birthday. He is going to be a big 2 year old boy on Wednesday. The Prince just stood in Pets At Home with a raised eyebrow and a look of resignation. He knows better than to suggest that we have ‘enough’ things in the basket.
