I slept for twelve hours last night. Hello holidays!

The rest of the day was a delightful mixture of pottering around the house, drying the tents, binge watching scandi-style murder shows and eating way too much chocolate. Just as the first day of the holidays should be.

I also fooled myself in thinking that the rain had cooled things down a little so went out for a run before dinner and came back a hot faced, hot and sweaty mess. Running is the only time that I don't find summer to be an absolute joy and delight.
