Water party 2018

One of the highlights of our summer is our friends’ annual water fight, bonfire and BBQ. They upped their game this year with a new huge pool, masses of inflatable toys in it like then unicorn and a better log transportation system to enable us to burn stuff more efficiently! It was a fabulous night. Katie had insisted she didn’t want to stay and wanted her own bed, so I hadn’t taken our tent. She changed her mind within about an hour of being there. It’s one of my only chances that we get to see this particular group of friends and kids- it always makes us both very happy. We didn’t get home til nearly midnight!
