Smart car strikes again

Small change of plan this week, the little studio apartment will be finished before we move on. Which means collecting the a/c unit from my mother in laws house. Price was right.

We made all sorts of arrangements to have it collected by a larger vehicle but would you believe it fitted in the Smart car (barely).

This unit is just for cooling which means we have to put a small electric fire in the apartment (freestanding) but doing it this way saves a lot of money.

A replacement a/c window unit with heat required a new electric circuit and would cost about $4-500. This one is being given to us (about all you can so with s/h window units) and a small electric heater is round $100. All in all we've saved a lot of cash and a lot if aggro.

Tomorrows job is installing this thing, which involves breaking the old one out, repairing the damage of taking it out and heaving this one in its place....what can go wrong??? (Apart from it falling out of the back of the hole...)
