A New Arrival

Well finally the big day dawned. I drove our daughter and her husband to the hospital at 7a.m. for the delivery of the new grandchild.

Mrs madwill and I spent a hectic morning dog waking and child minding…and then at lunchtime we had the call to say it was all over. We spent a few minutes on FaceTime so that Jessica could see the new baby.

She has been so excited all afternoon and we finally got to meet her little sister and our second granddaughter this evening. Our son also managed to get over from Leeds to meet his new niece. She is absolutely gorgeous.

Welcome to the world Emily Kaitlyn.

Mum and babe are doing just fine and we hope to have them home tomorrow.
