Pom Pom Sunflower

After a big breakfast we set off on our way south again.  Overall our journey wasn’t too bad.  It could have been a lot worse.  The worst part was stopping at a service station off the M5 to purchase some lunch.  You couldn’t move for cars and people.  We were desperate to get away from it.  We made good time to our holiday cottage.  After unpacking the car, we set off to Bridport in search of provisions.  First stop was the Palmers Brewery Shop for TT to stock up on some local beer!  Next stop was the supermarket.

It was then back to our holiday cottage where we sat in the garden, enjoyed the sunshine and had a drink before I cooked a quick and easy tea.  We then went out for a wander to stretch our legs and explore the locality.  We were all weary after the travelling, so it was an early night all round.

I spotted this glorious sunflower in a very verdant garden on our evening wander.
