A pink rose

A few years ago, not long after we had moved to this house, our friends B & M came to visit us.  They brought us a rose from Holland as a house present.

I'm afraid it has been treated to the same level of neglect as all our roses, but I am pleased to say that it has managed to survive this.  This is the second flower of the year, and I see there's a bud behind.  It's a lovely deep pink.

Our resolution for next year is to repot and feed all our roses, and put them somewhere where they will be better tended, and better admired.
