En garde

I think this is a juvenile male marmot learning the ropes. His much bigger Dad was further away but still watchful, whilst this bold fellow was happy to let me get surprisingly close.

A better test today, up to the Col d'Fenetre. Very ghostly up in the cloud (see extra1), I'd hoped there'd be a glimpse, but ethereal was the word of the day.
I'd love to say it went well, but whilst the legs are strong and swimming has obviously worked wonders for the lungs, my left foot mostly feels like it's been driven over by a truck. It's week 48 post op and I'm a bit sick of it now lol.

Extra 2 is for TonyG. Jerra got a moth yesterday, so I'm going to put up some extras that make me think of some of blippers this trip.
