Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Doggie soirée

Warm air greeted my exit this morning with Archie, though granted, it was not early.

I managed to cut the grass in a flurry of activity, then we took Archie up the hill, where there was a warm breeeze and nice clouds. I sat on the bench and sent the others up to the top. I wished I’d had a better long lens, but this will have to do.

In the afternoon we popped round to neighbours for drinkies. Loads of dogs - four - and a couple of big 'uns, so Archie felt safer being up on the sofa with us all evening.

Met a nice Scottish lady, who lives in Australia, and is a travel agent. She could prove to be a useful contact for future hols.
