Laytown Strand Races

The 150th year of horseracing under rules at Laytown Beach today. It started off rainy but the clouds cleared to give a lovely day.

I had a great day with Eithne. I had googled shutter speeds etc. But just used my iphone as usual. I think I caught some of the horses in main photo. (Beautiful Cooley Mountains in the background)

It was a proper country race day - lots of people down from the North and local people, picnics, colour, shouting n roaring and I backed a winner too. I am on the train back to Dubtown now.
