Courgette?

Today's the day ………………………… for the one that got away

Back home again today - and catching up with things in the house and garden since we've been away.

This courgette was hidden in the cloche - surely a world record beater - weighing in at 2.586 kilos.  I'd like to be able to tell you that it was mouth-wateringly delicious, but in reality you could probably have carved a small statue from it - such was the woodiness of its inside structure.

Ah well - I'll do better next year …………………….
