The eyes have it

I came out of a meeting of the Youth Justice Improvement Board in the Scottish Government offices at a Victoria Quay to be greeted by this.

It was part of a display of Scottish produce being used by the catering firm for its new menu. The fish slab had cod, coley, lemon sole, plaice, and many other fish on display.

Fortunately there were other samples of produce which were edible: from puy lentils with wild mushrooms, smoked salmon, Highland Brie, Arran cheddar, lemon and cardamon cake, quark with passion fruit. Lunch sorted.

Then back to office to prepare and sign off Board papers, undertake a phone interview, clarify procedural issues, sign a breach order form then head off to the Kirk Session for 19:30.
