I don't have much to smile about!

I wonder if she knows that in a few months time she won't be the baby any more. The last time I was walking in the park the Highland Cows and one of the bulls were all gathered in one of the slightly smaller fields, today two bulls were in a field by themselves ... I guess their duty has been done!

A lovely morning for a walk if a little wet underfoot. The Himalayan Balsam, growing along the banks of the river is getting quite out of control ...... not aware of anything being done about it .... yet!

Very, very heavy rain this afternoon ..... weather for staying in and making soup ..... yummy!
