Scarlet fever

Message from the childminder just after lunch - she thought the youngest was looking a bit red and had a bit of a rash on his tummy, might be worth a trip to the doctor.  Being a great childminder, she took him to the doctor - the verdict, Scarlet fever. Left work straight away (in fact, all three of us found a reason to need to leave for the day), picked up the eldest and told nursery that the youngest wasn't going to be in tomorrow (it being a nursery day for him).  He's banned from nursery for 5 days.... 

Came home with the eldest fast asleep - not sure if that bodes well for him also getting ill, and a very, very cuddly youngest who hasn't really left me, or the husband when he got home. The youngest fell asleep on me as I took him up to bed. 

It all explains my feeling ill earlier in the week. Thankfully, feeling much better, although the husband is now feeling ill.
