Lightbulbs

Slightly different from yesterday's blip and a huge thank you to those who left so many kind words - it's much appreciated

I was reading - well truth be known - skimming through one of our "professional"magazines - yawn yawn and came across this article, which states

"Some of the green energy efficient light bulbs may emit UV radiation that is above the acceptable limit and the effects are the same as exposing bare skin to sunlight! " (HPA Health Protection Agency)

Certain types of compact fluorescent light bulbs should not be used in close proximity to someone. Minimum distance for using the light bulb near you is 30cm and if you do - it must be for a max of one hour per day or you increase your daily UV exposure.

Solution - replace with "encapsulated - enveloped" light bulbs or move the lamp further away, or put suntan lotion on!
