Putting Off The Inevitable

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

This is how my day went:

1. Decide to do CV
2. Panic about doing first CV in 20 years
3. Panic call/text to friend
4. Get friend’s CV
5. Look at friend’s CV
6. Feel annoyed that friend doesn’t have IDENTICAL skills and work experience and that I can’t just change the name at the top.
7. Realise that finding such a friend at short notice might be tricky and what if they are dull and I end up being saddled with someone who doesn’t like giraffes just to find a fancy way of saying ‘can write code’.
8 Undertake a household chore that has suddenly become URGENT, after all, you never know when the sock drawer inspectors might do a spot check.
9. Accept that the household chore might be procrastination.

Repeat above.

So at the end of the day, I have been sent 4 CVs and written half a page but my ironing is completely up to date!

In other news, The Youngest Mini Princess had her braces removed today and she is delighted. Her teeth look very straight although she has to wear retainers at the moment so has a comedy lisp. Which we are obviously not mocking. That would be cruel!
