Restful

Seems like Oscar has tired himself out and it was a peaceful morning into early afternoon with some gentle games now and again and quality time with the cats, which Milkshake appreciated but Fatcat did not, she hissed at me and moved away! Trip to the vets to get him registered - his other testicle has still not descended, but as he is a big dog he can wait up to a year to be neutered if it's necessary, if the testicle does not descend it could become cancerous. Poor Oscar. As usual he was on his best behaviour if a little whimpery whilst waiting, the arrival of some west highland whites made him happy, plus the biscuit he got! We left with a whole hessian bag full of goodies and flea, tick and worming tablets! Luckily I had spotted some ticks before The Exile left and she had removed them - seems there are lots where he lived and his mum was quite ill through them once.
Come the early evening I dragged him out for a walk - he really didn't want to go but I knew I'd pay for it later if he didn't have a walk. Infact I didn't want to go out either as my IBS is really playing up and I felt most uncomfortable, but thought a walk would do me good too! Once out he was very lively and inquisitive, and very determined at times, refusing to budge when he found something he wanted to investigate or spotted something he wasn't certain about! I got him to sit whilst I took this photograph, and had to laugh when he then refused to move on!
Once back it was dinner for us both and then time to catch up on the Bodyguard! Only up to episode 4 so no spoilers please! I gave Oscar his pig ear which has gone a nasty white gelatinous mess at one end! When he left it to come for my company I hid it away and oh boy the became very lively! He's quite a big dog to have leaping on you already! Thankfully chasing tennis balls and a game of tug finally wore him out and he slept again!
I was delighted to see the rays of light pouring through the tree line in this photo when I processed it - really love the fact having Oscar meant I was out and about to capture this!
