Sunflowers...
Lola's not really allowed upstairs but she sneaked up this morning once David was up and snuggled in bed beside me for five minutes. A lovely way to start the day.
Kirsteen the physio was here this afternoon to see Alan and me. Alan was in his sit to stand chair for the first time in ages. He did really well as he was standing for the first time without ankle splints as they hurt his feet so much, he now refuses to wear them. Thankfully Kirsteen has identified an alternative; a kind of supportive sock that is much easier to get on and off and much more gentle on his feet. We will give those a go.
Not sure how we managed it, but we had dinner much earlier than usual this evening, which worked out well as we have been on Alan duty tonight as no team members in this evening. There must be a blue moon due as Alan chose to join us to watch tv (see extra) rather than watch tv in his living room. It's been lovely having his company, even Lola made a fuss of having him through beside us. He also wants me to go through to his bedroom to say goodnight once he's in bed.
It's funny how he reverts to our old routines when his team aren't here. I'm not complaining. I am looking forward to a rare good night kiss from him, assuming he still agrees. I will probably have to bribe him! Story of my life! :-))
