Early start.

I took this photo at 6.45 am. There was a heavy frost on the roofs overnight. The sunrise was beautiful but my photos didn't do it justice.
The news from America was not unexpected about Judge Kavanaugh, but shows how polarised and vicious the war between the Republicans and Democrats has been and how divided their country. 
Sounds very familiar. 
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree as the saying goes........
      Now the frost has melted, the sun is shining through the trees opposite the house, and today I will go to church with hubby as usual, then pack my suitcase ready for my 110 mile drive in the morning up the M6 to the place of my birth, passing the spot on the motorway where our son and and our Pastoral Minister were killed, 12 years ago, paying them silent homage. 
 I am staying with my cousin till Thursday. And visiting my sister.
Blips may be infrequent!
