Mono Monday . . . SEASONAL
This morning the lovely daughter and I walked in Hagley Park, Mona Vale and finished with a coffee at Riccarton House. The deciduous trees have their new leaves and have white onion bulbs flowering in the long grass under them. The light is dappled through their branches.
People are walking or riding through this large park in the central city.
At the Mona Vale lily pond we met this duck family. They made a bee-line for the forget me nots bordering the lawn and nibbled the flowers.
After looking at a large number of photos I decided on this simple still life. The fork belongs to the gardeners who were weeding a boarder at Mona Vale.
