Last Day Of Captivity (For a Week)

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Countdown day as I’m off next week. As is always the case, I ended up working late. There was a work night out but I decided just to pop my head in for half an hour as Kitty Cat wanted to catch up and she is definitely the better option. Big work nights out with lots of people aren’t really my thing. Too much work small talk at the beginning until everyone has a few drinks. I hate the question ‘so what are you working on at the moment?’. But if you smile when you say ‘my exit plan’, people think you’re joking! If I get too bored with these conversations, I excuse myself to go to the loo. If anyone noticed how often I do it, they’d think I have bladder issues!

Kitty Cat and I were both in excitable form. She was in Rome last weekend and had loads of chat about it and I am going to Barcelona this weekend. We drank red wine, shared a cheeseboard and laughed at ourselves for sounding so middle class!
