Wetter

After a rainy day yesterday, today's misty drizzle just seemed to make things wetter.

Jamie and I set off after lunch to visit Dom, 25 years tetraplegic, a keen hand cycler.  An inspirational guy .... although our long conversation covered the view that being told you are inspirational is not always easy to hear.  Just want to be seen as who you are, a great guy in this case.   Here is someone who lives life to the full.  I was reminded of IttH and his three types of fun.  Hand cycling down a road inside of a volcano at 45mph on wheelchair tyres designed for 5mph rated Type 3 fun .... !

Needless to say we had a most informative afternoon and will return for some test rides on a drier day.   Handy that Dom lives just off our route to my Mum's.  

Home again now.  Raindrops caught on a clematis flower stem by flash light.
