A dull, dry day

I am managing to get back to the gym more often, that’s two days in a row so far this week.

We have our granddaughters with us during the day for the school holidays. My wife and the girls went over to work at the STAR charity. There has been great excitement these past few days -the lady who set up the charity, Karen Morrison, was one of three finalists on TV’s Lorraine’s UK Inspirational Women of the Year. She didn’t actually win, but she was thrilled to have been recognised nationally for her work. We hope that it will lead to more support, since, like all charities, funding is always greatly needed.

The Fuchsia in our garden is certainly pluckily surviving the change to Autumnal weather.
