Pink and shell like.

Jelly ear fungus on a dead tree stump by the River Alne. It looked beautiful this morning with shafts of sunlight piercing the twists of mist coming off the river. It was very peaceful and still and I think I heard the otter launching itself into the water for a morning dip.
