Tufted Titmouse

The birdseed clients are trickling in! Today this tufted titmouse and an American goldfinch arrived for a snack. The pattern of the white around this titmouse's eye makes it look a good deal more googily eyed than most, I thought. In any case - it got my attention. Usually I think the white goes more completely up and around the eye from the throat. Although it certainly varies from bird to bird. They always look big eyed, but not quite so walleyed!
