November Daily Challenge Day 26 - Up

This sculpture stands at the entrance to Farnborough's Queensmead shopping precinct. The plaques around the plinth are engraved with various flying machines and presumably commemorate the aviation links for which Farnborough is renown. However Mr Google has for once failed me, and I have been unable to find any more information about it.
