Rue

A day of meandering around Ludlow. I do love it here, although essentially it's just a smaller, more middle class and more Tory Shrewsbury. It's still delightful to spend a day there. Neighbour Gilly used to live in Ludlow and said that it's not all it's cracked up to be. For the first time today, I think I got it.

The afternoon was rainy so was spent holed up in a pub drinking beer and playing scrabble.

Delightful. But this time last year I was on a beach in Borneo. I think I know where I'd rather be.
