Fog in the Derwent Valley.

Arrived feeling remarkably fresh even after the 5 hour journey. It's always very atmospheric to be back in the North, and the sun set quickly. Durham Cathedral was not illuminated, so we had to make do with the Castle instead as we passed through.

Classic sodium lighting was casting it's orange glow on the mist settling in the valley by the time we drove up to the farm., and then it was good to see everyone again.

Slow-cooked local venison and home grown vegetables quickly replenished our energy stores.

Then the view through our skylight was reassuringly North-Eastern.
